Eric Fallen grew up in Hamilton Ontario and moved to NYC in 1998 to study playwriting at Brooklyn College. After completing his MFA, he taught for several years at SUNY, CUNY and Pratt. In 2013, he opened Peninsula on Van Brunt Street in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Launched as a project space for young conceptual artists, Peninsula has evolved into a more traditional gallery with a roster comprised of both emerging and established artists. In 2022, the gallery moved from Brooklyn to 13 Monroe Street on the Lower East Side.
